If you’ve been playing Palworld and can’t find any Polymer which is described as a ‘Palworld Polymer not showing up’ issue on the web. Polymer is a key ingredient in making powerful weapons, explosives, circuits, and other high-tier items, so when it doesn’t show up in your Production Assembly Line, it’s a big buzzkill. But don’t worry! I’ve got a few tricks to help you get past this Polymer problem and back to crafting.
Check the Requirements to Unlock Polymer
In Palworld, Polymer doesn’t just appear in the crafting menu unless you’ve put in some groundwork to unlock it in the skill tree.
- Level Up Your Technology Tree: Polymer unlocks at Technology Level 33. If you haven’t reached this level, you won’t see Polymer as an option. So, go ahead and grind the Technology points. Once you hit the required level, you can unlock Polymer with your points (it’ll cost you two).
- Build a Production Assembly Line: Polymer crafting isn’t something you can do on a regular workbench. You need a Production Assembly Line, and this thing requires some setup. You’ll need 100 Ingots, 50 Wood, 20 Nails, and 10 Cement to construct it, so make sure you’ve all these resources in Skill Tree in the needed amount. If you’re lacking the supply, you can go smash some rocks or chop some trees—whatever it takes to get them.
- Gather High-Quality Pal Oil: Polymer requires two units of High-Quality Pal Oil. You can either hunt certain Pals like Mammonrest, Digtoise, Dumud, and Blazamut or buy from Wandering Merchants for 300 Gold per oil.
Rebuild the Production Assembly Line
Still Polymer not showing? Here’s a method that’s worked for some players: disassemble and rebuild your Production Assembly Line. There may be a small bug causing the menu not to update correctly, and rebuilding can sometimes reset it.
To do this:
- Open the Build Menu and switch to Disassembly Mode. Select your Production Assembly Line and take it down.
- Don’t worry about losing resources; Palworld is kind enough to give you back all the materials you spent, so you can rebuild it without needing to go gather everything again.
- Once it’s back up, cross your fingers and check if Polymer is finally available in the tree.
Moreover, you could also try logging out of the game completely and restarting. Sometimes, that alone does the trick.
Assuming you’re still reading because none of the above has worked, there’s one final piece to check: make sure your crafting Pal has Handiwork Suitability. Some crafting recipes require a Pal with specific skills, and Polymer is also one of them. So, try swapping in a Pal with Handiwork and see if that fixes it. Hopefully, by now, you’ve managed to see Polymer in the game and are ready to craft all the top-tier items your heart desires.
