During your travel to the Malachite region in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, you will come across a locked door in the tunnel leading you to the Scorcher Technical Tunnel machine. You need a code to unlock this door, and finding that seven-digit number is a little bit complex. Scorcher Technical Tunnel Door Code
- Locked Door Code: 1287975
The door to the Scorcher Technical Tunnel is locked with a seven-digit code mentioned above. This code is the same for every playthrough without the RNG element, so you can use it instantly without having to hunt for clues. Entering it will unlock the door, giving you access to some important supplies and an upgraded AR416 AR.
Finding the Scorcher Tunnel Door Code By Yourself
Even though I’ve already given you the door code, if you want to see where it is available in-game. The numbers are written on the small pillars of the fence near the locked room. Look carefully, you’ll see seven digits across different sections of the fence. Start looking from the left number which is furthest from the door and see all the numbers in sequence toward the door. When you put them together, you will have the required digit you need. In short, start from away the door and walk toward it by jotting them down in order: 1 → 2 → 8 → 7 → 9 → 7 → 5
Where to Find the Scorcher Technical Tunnel in STALKER 2
There are a couple of paths to reach the Scorcher Technical Tunnel depending on where you’re coming from:
- From the Chemical Plant: Head towards the north from the Malachite Checkpoint. Stay on the road until you reach the tunnel entrance.
- From STC Malachite: Go north toward the Brain Scorcher landmark, slip through a busted wall, and follow along the outer compound road east until you spot the tunnel.
The area is blocked with the fences near the Scorcher Technical Tunnel. Look for a gap in the fence to go to the other side and climb the ladder leading up to the locked door with a keypad to enter the code.
What’s Inside the Locked Room?
Once you enter the code and unlock the tunnel door, you’ll find some good loot to collect:
- Modded AR416 Assault Rifle – Comes with ammo
- Medkits – Must for survival
- Ammo & Consumables – Found inside a backpack, including food and healing items
This loot will definitely help you out in the dangerous world of STALKER 2. But be warned—after getting your rewards, you might have to fight your way out. Some of the dead bodies you saw on your way in can appear again, meaning you’ll need to clear your way by killing them before heading back.
