Today, new big news has arrived for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 fans with the announcement of Adult Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta coming as part of a new Daima DLC pack. Bandai Namco recently confirmed that the latest expansion will bring content from Dragon Ball Daima into the game.
This reveal is exciting, but also unexpected. In the Daima anime, Vegeta first unlocks Super Saiyan 3 as a child, since the show mostly focuses on younger versions of the main cast. But instead of starting with that form, Xenoverse 2 skips ahead to his adult transformation from the finale.
If you haven’t seen the ongoing Dragon Ball Daima, the series follows Goku, Vegeta, and other heroes after they are mysteriously turned into kids. Even with a smaller body, Vegeta manages to reach Super Saiyan 3 which he never even achieved in Dragon Ball Z or Dragon Ball Super. This was a huge change for his character, proving that he could finally reach the level that only Goku and Gotenks had before.
By the end of the series, Vegeta regains his adult form and fights using Super Saiyan 3 at full power. That’s the version of Vegeta that will appear in Xenoverse 2, turning him into the first playable Daima character in the game besides Goku.
What’s Included in the Daima DLC Pack?
While the full details haven’t been revealed, the official teaser trailer confirms that the Daima DLC will include:
- Adult Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta as a playable character
- New costumes and accessories
- New skills and abilities
- At least one more character
Bandai Namco hasn’t announced a release date, and there is no gameplay video arrived yet. This means the Daima DLC will likely launch sometime in late 2025.
The trailer hints at one more character coming in the DLC pack. Fans are already speculating, and the most likely choice is Adult Super Saiyan 4 Goku. He made his first appearance in the final episodes of Daima, so he can be a perfect addition to the expansion.
Even though Dragon Ball Daima ended after 20 episodes, its influence is just getting started. The series is already making its way into multiple games, including Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero and now Xenoverse 2. This means fans will get more characters, transformations, and battles from Daima in the future.
