The healing effect of this blade is truly remarkable, as it offers both a percentage and a flat amount of HP restoration. This makes it an invaluable pick for any Lands Between adventurer, especially in challenging battles where every bit of health matters. Additionally, on every enemy’s death, no matter if you strike with Blasphemous Blade or not, until you have this weapon with you, it restores 4% of the wielder’s max HP and 40 flat HP. Moreover, the ability to combine it with other items like the Greathorn Hammer, Serpent-God’s Curved Sword, Rykard’s Great Rune, and Taker’s Cameo makes it even more versatile and powerful.
When you hit an enemy with this sword, the healing effect of Taker’s Flame restores 10% of your maximum health + an additional 150 health points. Go to Volcano Manor
There are two main paths to Rykard, and both call for you to get to Volcano Manor’s main entrance. By completing Ryan’s quest in Liurnia of the Lakes or by just locating the entrance in the northwest corner of the Altus Plateau, you can get there.
First Route to Volcano Manor:
Go to the Manor to visit Tanith and talk with her. If you finish all of Tanith’s invasion objectives, she will teleport you to a Site of Grace which is close to Rykard’s fog door, and that’s your first route to go to Rykard’s boss chamber. If you’re aiming to complete the final assassination, you must first complete the Leyndell, Royal Capital Legacy Dungeon and finally make your way to the Mountaintops of the Giants. While the clashes take place there may not pose too much of a challenge, the journey to get there will require a lot of effort and dedication on your part.
Second Route to Volcano Manor:
If you’re looking for an alternate route, consider taking on the Volcano Manor Legacy Dungeon. It’s not required to complete the other Legacy Dungeons in Leyndell, the Royal Capital, but it does have its own rewards and sights to see. However, if you’re dead set on getting your hands on the Blasphemous Blade, you can skip all the challenges and reach directly to the weapon’s part.
Access the Volcano Manor dungeon by entering the first door on the right after leaving Tanith’s room and walking down the corridor. After entering there, make your way to the back of the room, where you’ll find a forged wall. Entering it will lead you to the beginning of the dungeon via a hidden route.
Once you find the hidden entrance to Volcano Manor, you’ll have to overcome some challenges to reach the intended location. The Legacy Dungeon begins at the Prison Town Church Site of Grace, where you will face many strange big creatures and a Bloodhound Knight. As you navigate through the various branching paths of Volcano Manor, one of the main difficulties of this dungeon is the Godskin Noble boss fight, which will require you to perfectly use your combat skills and strategies to defeat him.
While the path through the dungeon may seem straightforward, it’s still a significant task that will push you to your limits. As you make your way through the treacherous terrain of Manor, you’ll eventually stumble upon the Temple of Eiglay Site of Grace. Here, you’ll come across a portal to transport you to the pre-boss checkpoint – it’s a similar place where you arrived when completing Tanith’s quests.
Beat Rykard Boss
On your way to acquiring the Blasphemous Blade in Elden Ring, it’s the toughest part of the quest where you must fight and defeat Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy (one of the hardest bosses as compared to Margit or Starscourge Radahn). To have a challenging dual with him, you need to head towards the Audience Pathway of Manor. This battle occurs in two parts – you will not see the main boss until you kill the God-Devouring Serpent.
Once you manage to eliminate him, he’ll leave behind Rykard’s Great Rune and Remembrance of the Blasphemous. After collecting these rewards, head over to the Roundtable Hold to talk with Enia. Here, you can trade the Remembrance of the Blasphemous for either Blasphemous Blade or Rykard’s Rancor.
