Leveling up in Pokémon Go has always been the priority for fans to get the strong version of their Pokémon and get many amazing rewards along with higher chances of obtaining great creatures. But rising in ranks is not so easy, especially when you hit the upper levels. Once you pass Level 40, the challenges get even tougher to progress toward the final Level 50, and Level 47 in Pokémon Go is no exception. It has some complex challenges that require good strategy, and a solid understanding of raids. This guide breaks down everything you need to about passing the 47th Level in the game.
What You Need to Do to Reach Pokémon Go Level 47
To reach Level 47, you need to complete these four tasks:
- Win 30 Raids using a team of all unique Pokémon species.
- Win a 3-star Raid using Pokémon with 1,500 CP or less.
- Power up three Pokémon to their max CP.
- Earn 20 Platinum Medals.
You’ll also need to rack up a total of 100,000,000 XP—so keep grinding and collecting the experience points as well.
How to Complete Level 47 Challenges
1. Win 30 Raids with Unique Pokémon Teams
It means that every Pokémon on your team for these Raids has to be a different species. You don’t need 30 different teams, you can use the same team of six unique Pokémon over and over. A good strategy is to focus on Tier 1 and Tier 3 Raids since they’re easier to solo. You can start a Raid with your usual strong Pokémon, then switch to a unique team right before the Raid ends – it still counts.
2. Win a 3-Star Raid with Pokémon Under 1,500 CP
This one is a little tough but doable. Pick Pokémon that are very effective against the Raid boss. For example, if you’re up against Snorlax, use Fighting-type Pokémon like Machamp. Pokémon you’ve maxed out for Great League (under 1,500 CP) can be great choices. It is allowed to do this challenge with friends – as long as your Pokémon are under 1,500 CP, it counts. Your friends can use stronger Pokémon to help carry you through.
3. Power Up Three Pokémon to their Max CP
It takes a lot of Stardust and XL Candy. If possible, max out Lucky Pokémon since they require less Stardust. You’ll need 296 XL Candy to fully max out a regular Pokémon from Level 40 to 50. Purified Pokémon need 272, while Shadows need 360. Meltan is a great option since you can get tons of XL Candy from Mystery Boxes.
4. Earn 20 Platinum Medals
If you’ve been playing for a while, you might already have some Platinum Medals. If not, focus on medals you can grind daily, like catching Pokémon, battling in Gyms, or completing trades.
