OG Reload mode is Fortnite’s ultimate nostalgia fest, added during Chapter 5, Season 3 on June 22. It allows you to enjoy Fortnite as it once was—before reality augments and Kamehameha waves took over.
You can queue up for OG Reload in casual matches or get into the deep end with Ranked Reload for competitive play. The Chapter 2 Remix update has also introduced a new Chapter 2-themed map called Oasis, which changes every 30 minutes with the iconic Chapter 1 map. It means double the nostalgia for the price of one loading screen.
The 32.00 update has brought changes to unvaulted weapons and items while sending others to the vault weapons list in Reload. There aren’t any new weapons introduced. Epic is keeping things old-school by focusing only on classic weapons. This mode has focused on Fortnite’s best moments, and adding new weapons would kind of defeat the point.
