To begin, you need to locate the Enigma clue itself. Head to Harbiyah, specifically south of the Metal Factory. This area is near a small canal. The Enigma scroll is on the upper floor of a building there, but it’s a bit hidden behind a barred door. Here’s a simple trick to grab it:
- Look for a way around the barred door. Go to the other side of the building’s upper floor, where you’ll see some scaffolding.
- Break scaffolding to open a window, jump through this opening, and collect the Enigma scroll from the ground near the dead body.
Once you have the Enigma, check out the drawing on it. It’s a bit vague – it shows a few buildings near water, and interestingly, a fierce-looking lion.
How to Solve the Left Behind Enigma and Find the Treasure
So, you’ve got your hands on the Left Behind Enigma, it’s puzzle-solving time. I won’t lie; when I first saw it, I thought some kiddo had a field day with crayons. But, as we know, looks can be deceiving.
The drawing may not seem too helpful at first, but there’s a clear destination. The image points you toward an Abandoned Village west of Baghdad. It’s one of the few spots with a mix of buildings, water, and roaming animals (a pretty rare sight around Baghdad in the game).
Once you’re in the Abandoned Village, you need to reach the southernmost point. Look for a small cove near a wooden boat jetty. You will find some glowing loot on the beach so don’t want to miss those. But be wary of a dangerous leopard guarding this area as it can smash you down if you are not ready for a good fight. Either sneaking past this creature or you can also defeat him to claim your reward.
When you collect the treasure, you’ll receive a Horned Lion Talisman. This item is a unique wearable for Basim, giving some flair to your gear. Though it doesn’t have special boosts or powers, it is still a nice addition to your collection. With your new Talisman in inventory, you’re ready to return to your adventures in Baghdad!
