What Does Crimson Amber Medallion +2 Do?
The Crimson Amber Medallion +2 increases your maximum HP by 8%, which is a good boost in stamina, especially if you have low to mid-range Vigor levels. You might see enough benefit at very high Vigor but this medallion can still be the difference between surviving a boss’s critical hit or getting knocked out.
Keep in mind that you can only equip one variant of the Crimson Amber Medallion at a time, so if you already have the equipped Crimson Amber Medallion +1, this is a direct upgrade.
Where to Find Crimson Amber Medallion +2 in Elden Ring
The Crimson Amber Medallion +2 is found in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds underneath Leyndell, Ashen Capital. However, this area is only accessible after a major story event:
- First, defeat Maliketh, Black Blade in Crumbling Farum Azula to trigger the transformation of Leyndell into the Capital of Ash.
- After this event, head to the Leyndell, Capital of Ash Site of Grace.
- From here, make your way to the southwestern area of the capital and look for an open sewer grate.
- Drop down the beams leading to the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds.
- Inside, you’ll see a hanging corpse on a wooden beam with the Crimson Amber Medallion +2.
If you prefer a high-health, tanky build, or struggling to get one-shot by many bosses, this +2 variant is great Talisman to worn. It gives you a decent buffer of extra health to face the hardest enemies ahead in your Elden Ring storyline.
The Crimson Amber Medallion +2 becomes more helpful during tougher late-game areas where enemy damage becomes largely more punishing. It’s not hard to acquire once Leyndell turns into the Capital of Ash, and it can make the difference between life and death in critical encounters.
