The new Doom-themed Battle Pass in Fortnite came with 12 rewards that are worth getting. But these items are locked behind the completion of different objectives and one of the Fortnite Chapter 5’s Doctor Doom quests requires you to find five different rare chests. These treasures are called “rare” for a reason! But don’t worry—we’re here to guide you through the locations of these chests so you can easily complete the quest.

Where to Find Rare Chests to Complete Doom Quest in Fortnite

To make it easy for you to identify them, if you come across a glowing blue chest; it means you have located one of them. But unlike the golden chests, rare chests are not easy to find because of their random spawn throughout the map in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. That’s right, there are no predictable spots here. You have to cross your fingers and hope the Fortnite gods are smiling at you.

The best spawn locations for these chests are Castle Doom, Doomstadt, and The Raft. But these areas are basically party central, where you always come across many players and engage in battles. If you want to grab a rare chest before someone else does, you’d better be fast—or sneaky.

Instead of battling half the lobby at the usual hotspots, you should focus on the Weapons Bunkers because each bunker contains 2 or 3 rare chests inside. Some bunkers remain locked, and they open randomly during the match. Fortunately, the game will alert you on the map when a nearby bunker is about to open, so keep an eye out for those notifications.

All of these Doctor Doom quests are available until November 2 when the battle pass ends. So, there is still plenty of time to complete these challenges. Just remember, patience and persistence are key since these chests spawn randomly. Focus on bunker locations, and don’t hesitate to adjust your strategy based on where the action is happening in each match.
