Fortnitemares has finally arrived running until November 2nd. This limited-time event introduces plenty of spooky challenges, new amazing loot, and a chance to unlock exclusive items. You’ll be tackling haunted locations, defeating creepy bosses, and wielding some interesting and powerful new weapons along the way.

Fortnite’s Battle Royale: Nitemare One questline includes six scary but exciting challenges that will give a lot of amazing rewards including the brand-new glider, new emotes, back bling, a pickaxe, a loading screen, and a banner. Whether you’re flying on a Witch Broom or blasting enemies with the Boom Billy, you’ll rack up thousands of experience points and awesome loot like the Fangler Bass Guitar and Carver’s Helm Emote by completing them.

Here’s how to complete each Nitemare One quest in Fortnite:

1. Visit Freaky Fields and the Underworld

Your first quest is a simple one—just visit two spooky new locations: Freaky Fields and The Underworld. Both places are easy to find on the map and they give off major Halloween vibes.

  • Freaky Fields is a new haunted location, perfect for some ghostly fun.
  • The Underworld can be accessed through portals scattered around the map. It’s dark and creepy, so be prepared for some lurking danger.

All you need to do is land visit these areas to complete the first quest.

2. Find and Defeat Billy

Next, you’ve to beat Billy, the spooky doll modeled after the well-known villain from Saw. This boss is no joke and comes with a twisted sense of humor that might make you rethink your life choices mid-battle.

Billy is available in Freaky Fields, go inside the large haunted house, find a TV with a ghost on its screen in a small room, and interact with it. Summoning Billy will trigger the boss fight—so make sure you’re geared up before facing him. Once you take him down, you’ll not only complete the challenge but also unlock Boom Billy, a throwable explosive weapon you’ll need for the next objective.

3. Damage Opponents with Boom Billy (150 Damage)

After obtaining Boom Billy, it’s time to unleash some chaos. Each Boom Billy doll homes in on enemies and explodes for 75 damage. To complete this task, you’ll need to deal 150 damage—so that’s two dolls minimum. Aim for crowded areas or NPCs to hit a couple of targets and make quick work of this challenge.

4. Travel Distance in the Air Using the Witch Broom (500 meters)

For this quest, travel 500 meters using the Witch Broom, a new mobility item you can use to fly through the sky. You can get the Witch Broom from the normal loot or buy it for 200 Gold Bars from Edward Scissorhands at Grand Glacier or Peely Bone at Restored Reels. Hop on your broom and take to the skies—it’s not just a great way to cover ground quickly, but it’s also a fun way to escape sticky situations.

5. Collect Items (20)

This one’s a breeze—you only need to collect 20 items during a match as usual loot such as weapons, ammo, healings, or any items. You can choose to visit the best loot areas like Freaky Fields or Restored Reels, and start scooping up everything you see.

6. Damage Opponents with a Chainsaw (1,500 Damage)

Lastly, we’ve got the big one: dealing 1,500 damage with the Chainsaw, a strong melee weapon introduced in the event. It’s great for close-range fights and can shred enemies.

You can find the Chainsaw randomly across the map, so keep your eyes peeled. To complete this quest, go wild on NPC guards, bosses, or opponents. The Chainsaw’s high damage means you’ll reach that 1,500 damage target in no time—make sure you don’t get carried away chasing foes.
