Fortnite Vampire Kado Thorne Boss Location
To encounter Vampire Kado Thorne, head on over to Eclipse Estate. You will find the boss in the basement, he’s the head honcho of the Eclipse. After getting there, you’ll spot a turret and an open vault door. Simply breeze past those to come across a boss in all his vampiric glory in front of you to have a serious dual.
How to Defeat Vampire Kado Thorne in Fortnite
Before you rush into the fight straight away, have some strategy in mind. Going in without a plan is like trying to eat spaghetti with a straw – messy and not very effective.
First, make sure to have strong gear in your inventory with serious firepower. The best weapons to use in this combat are Combat SMG or the new Wood Stake Shotgun because of their unique strength against vampire enemies. Moreover, use the terrain to your advantage, and try to get the drop on Kado. You can use the pillars standing there to protect yourself from the boss’s damage and give yourself a chance to strike back.
Kado has a few tricks up his sleeve. Stay on your toes, and if you see him winding up for a special move especially when his chest glows red, dodge, duck, dip, dive, and… dodge. Don’t become an easy target. Keep moving, jump around, and make yourself as unpredictable as possible. Keep an eye on your health bar; if things look dicey, don’t be shy about retreating and healing up.
What Thorne’s Vampiric Blade Can Do?
The blade can siphon health from enemies with each strike, returning vitality to its wielder, much like a vampire drawing sustenance from its victims. It’s a mythical sword that reminisces the Kinetic Blade from previous seasons, allowing not only the usual slashing but also a dashing forward with a charged attack for the extra oomph.
Thorne’s Vampiric Blade boasts a Damage per Second (DPS) of 70/60 and a fire rate of 1. Its magazine size is three, with structural damages of 400 (for Dash), 75 (for Slash), and 150 (for Jump Slash). Its basic attack, known as the Knockback Slash, encompasses two swift slashes. The second slash has a bit of a ‘throwback’ vibe as it sends opponents reeling backward. And if they’re sent back from a considerable height, they will receive fall damage. For a more aggressive approach, there’s a Dash Attack, which dashes toward the foes to deal damage.
