The post-apocalyptic world of Once Human brings a lot of multiplayer action and chaos to the table and to survive in the tough challenges of this game, you need to have powerful weapons and gear in your inventory. Fireproof Plastic is one of the important materials to craft advanced Tier 3 gear and build the all-important Intermediate Gear Workbench. You cannot find it as normal loot lying around but you have to disassemble scraps to get it. But where do you find these items to get this upgrade part? This Once Human guide walks you through how to farm a lot of Fireproof Plastic as per your crafting demand.

Once Human Fireproof Plastic Location

Once Human Iron Region location to get scraps for Fireproof Plastic

When it comes to finding Fireproof Plastic, Iron River is your only location to visit where you will go after completing the Gaia Cliff Monolith. This level 21 area gives a large amount of scraps you can disassemble to get Fireproof Plastic. You can go there even if you haven’t reached the area level but bring along a strong weapon to deal with the enemies and protect yourself from being smashed down by them. Here’s a guide on which areas to look to obtain the junk items:

  • Refinery Pollution Point – This settlement is a goldmine for scraps but you can’t enter it unless you hit the level 23 mark. You’ll find items like Animal Statues, Tires, and others here. Just make sure you’re ready to face some not-so-easy enemies.
  • Highland Buildings – These settlements in the Highlands are quite filled with a lot of loot. Head straight here and start scavenging, but be cautious of the foes.
  • Greywater Industrial Zone – Another great area to gather the necessary items for the Plastic. It’s slightly less intense than the Refinery Pollution Point, but still, you need to be on your toes.
  • Riverheart Harbor – If you need even more scraps, check out Riverheart Harbor. It’s a bit off the beaten path towards the northwestern end from Refinery Pollution Point but it’s worth the trip.

What Items Yield Fireproof Plastic?

When you’re in the Iron River, you need to collect these specific junk items as much as you can that will give you Fireproof Plastic after disassembling:

  • Animal Statues
  • Baking Pans
  • Tires
  • Gel
  • Note Boards
  • Sports Water Bottles
  • Safety Helmets

Each of these items yields 3x Fireproof Plastic except the Note Board which only gives a single piece.

How to Disassemble Items to Get Fireproof Plastic in Once Human

Once Human: Disassembling Items to Get Fireproof Plastic in Disassemble Bench

Once you have collected enough scraps, go to your base and use the Disassembly Bench. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Visit your camp and locate the Disassembly Bench.
  2. Select the scraps you have added to your inventory.
  3. Break them down to get Fireproof Plastic. The process is free, so you can do this without any limit.

Your motorcycle may be your best exit strategy if you’re not quite up to the recommended level. Zip in, loot the scraps, and leave before the enemies are even aware of your presence. If you are at the lower level, come prepared with powerful weapons or good teammates that can help defend you while setting the enemies at bay. The game’s map is great for pinpointing where you can find the necessary materials. You are likely to gather a lot of scraps while scavenging, so make sure you keep an eye on your inventory.
