- Staff Part 1: You’ll find the first part in a reward box right by Generator 6. But you need to power up the generator to get your hands on it – a bit of elbow grease is required here.
- Staff Part 2: To obtain it, look for a Soul Box by the Excavation Site, but keep your eyes peeled for a glowing orange plane in the sky. You’ll need to shoot it down to make the part appear.
- Staff Part 3: The third staff part is dropped by the Panzer, a tough enemy that spawns on round 8. You need to defeat it to get the part.
- Elemental Crystal: This item is hiding in the Crazy Place. To get there, you’ll need the Gramophone and that Red Record. Place the Gramophone on a pedestal near the church, and pop in the Red Record to open a portal. In the Crazy Place, hunt for the fire pedestal and grab your crystal.

Fire Staff Code Upgrade in Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles
Once you’ve got the Fire Staff in your possession and want to give it an upgrade, you’re in for a treat (and a bit of a challenge), but nothing too tough for a gamer like you. Upgrading the Fire Staff involves cracking a couple of puzzles: the first one in the Crazy Place and the second happens in the church basement.
The first puzzle in the Crazy Place is a mini-game where you need to kill 30 zombies in the fire area, where there are four cauldrons. Your task is to take down the zombies that are standing on the metal grates to fill up the cauldrons with fire. Once you have filled all four cauldrons, you can move on to the next puzzle.
Now, brace yourself because this next one’s a bit of a head-scratcher. You’re going to play detective with some torches and a series of mysterious symbols. Get to the church’s basement, and you’ll spot seven torches, each with numbers underneath. But the real clue lies above in the far wall, where you’ll see symbols shining bright. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves figuring out which torches to light up with your Fire Staff. Each of those glowing symbols matches a specific number, and it’s up to you to make the connection. Here’s how to match the combinations to solve it:
- Three: Two horizontal circles – the first filled with color and the second without color.
- Four: Two horizontal circles – both filled with color.
- Five: One circle followed by two vertical circles – all filled with color.
- Six: Two circles in vertical position followed by a single one – the first two filled with color while the third remains uncolored.
- Seven: Two circles in vertical position followed by a single one – all filled with color.
- Eight: For circles in a position forming a square – all filled with color.
- Nine: Three circles in a horizontal form – the first with color fill and the last two uncolored.
- Ten: Three circles in a horizontal form – the first and last with color fill and the middle one remains uncolored.
- Eleven: The first two circles in a horizontal position followed by two in a vertical line – the first horizontal circle and both vertical circles are filled with color while the second circle in a horizontal line is uncolored.
After you have solved the puzzle in the church basement, you need to go to the Excavation Site and align the blue rings inside. Spin those rings until all the red lights line up perfectly. When you’ve got them all aligned, an orb will appear near them. Use your Fire Staff and shoot at it – the orb will vanish.
The final step is to go back to the Crazy Place and place the Fire Staff on the fire pedestal. You have to kill some Zombies to let your staff consume their powers and after that, you will notice the staff has been upgraded to Kagutsuchi’s Blood, which has a larger magazine, faster reload, and more damage.
