Across the journey of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, it becomes apparent to you that as how smooth and competent Basim is, but he isn’t invincible. After all that hard work, poor Basim may end up battered and bruised – just like us after a tough day. As such, if you’ve tried to keep Basim as healthy and in tip-top shape as possible (and out of that all-too-common ‘Game Over’ screen), this guide is for you.
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Elixirs are what you need for healing. These little packs are required to bounce back to full health after a rough encounter. But, (and there’s always a but) when you first step into Basim’s shoes, you’ll notice you can only carry a couple of these Elixirs at a time. Fret not; read out this walkthrough to learn how to restore health in Assassin’s Creed Mirage and get more Elixirs.
How to Use Elixirs to Heal in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
When Basim’s health is looking a little low after taking the fight with tough enemies and you hear the heartbeat sound, it’s Elixir time. For those of you on a controller: use the D-Pad to implement the use of Elixir. For all PC gamers out there: a simple tap of the H key will do the trick and then watch Basim’s health bar reaching the peak again.
Well, use these Elixirs with reverence because they are rare and very valuable. Each one can only be used once so this is like your special chocolate stash. You wouldn’t eat it all in one go, would you? Use them judiciously and strategically. And while you’re exploring, keep an eye out for food; it’s scattered throughout the city. While they may not provide the full Elixir health boost benefits, it’s one of those quick snacks that help you get through to your next meal and keep Basim fed.
Increasing Elixir Capacity
You know that feeling when you’re packing for a trip and you wish your bag was just a bit bigger? That’s exactly how it feels when you start AC Mirage with only two Elixir in the bag. I mean, just two? For all the acrobatics and skirmishes Basim gets into seems a tad unfair, doesn’t it?
But, the game has a hidden option that allows us to upgrade that tiny Elixir pouch. Enter the Trickster Skill Tree and you’ll spot the Elixir Pocket skill. Investing a mere two skill points here unlocks the option of carrying an extra Elixir. While it might sound like just a tiny upgrade, in the heat of the action, this one additional Elixir can be the difference between a glorious victory and a sneaky restart.
So, keep this in mind: As you collect those skill points, think about giving Basim the gift of extra healing space. Because, honestly, who doesn’t love a bit more room in their inventory?
How to Obtain the Elixirs in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
The million-drachma question here is: Where do we find these Elixirs? Lucky for us, AC Mirage is teeming with ways to get our hands on them:
1. The Shopping: Head on over to the local Traders in Baghdad. For just 30 coins, you can buy Elixirs.
2. The Explorer’s Path: Elixirs are also available on the whole map like those hidden easter eggs, waiting to be discovered. Keep those eyes peeled while looting chests, sneaking up on guards, or even when you’re mingling with the townsfolk.
