Once Human Boy Just Wanna Have Fun is one of the more puzzling side quests, as it involves tracking down clues to crack a passcode on a lockbox in High Banks. This guide breaks down everything you need to know to complete this challenge without too much head-scratching.
How to Start the Boy Just Wanna Have Fun Quest in Once Human
To kick off the Boy Just Wanna Have Fun quest, head over to High Banks in the Broken Delta region. Once there, enter the central building and look for a note on the table in the lobby. Interacting with this note will trigger the quest, and you go on a scavenger hunt around High Banks to uncover the lockbox code. You’ll notice three locations marked on your map — visit all of them to find the numbers for the passcode.

Finding the High Banks Passcode
If you don’t like to track down all these clues and just want the answer, the passcode for the High Banks lockbox is 325. The number is fixed for all players, so feel free to skip the hunt if you’re eager to get to the rewards.
Otherwise, you can follow these steps to piece together the lockbox code yourself:
- Uncle Lin’s House – After reading the initial note, head to Uncle Lin’s house, which has a distinct red roof. Inside, you’ll find a second note next to a supply crate. This note gives you your first clue: the number 2. It also hints at the other locations you should visit, mentioning two shops, LK and GAMEWORLD, and the Coffee Shop where you’ll eventually use the code to unlock the box.
- LK Store – Next, make your way over to the LK shop. This store is towards the north end of the main road that runs through High Banks. Look around the floor near the entrance to get another note with the second digit of the code, which is 3.
- GAMEWORLD – From the LK shop, head north to GAMEWORLD. Inside, on the counter right by the entrance, you’ll find your third and final clue: the number 5.
- WHW Cafe – Finally, go to the WHW Cafe (a.k.a. The Coffee Shop) on the western side of High Banks. Inside, there’s a note on a table near the entrance. This note hints at how the numbers should be arranged, saying that the last digit is the largest and the middle one is the smallest.
Once you have the High Banks lockbox code, you’ll need to find the lockbox itself. It’s not in the same building where you started the quest. Instead, make your way over to the WHW Cafe, which is on the west side of High Banks. Inside, look for a counter where the lockbox is available.

These rewards are the same for everyone, so no surprises here — just a solid boost to your inventory and experience.
