How the Business Turret Works in Fortnite
To use it, you need to throw the Business Turret down like any consumable, and it immediately gets to work. Business Turret targets enemies within a 60-meter range, and deals 7 damage per shot with a fairly high fire rate of 1.75 shots per second, adding up quickly if your target doesn’t realize it’s there.

It has 400 HP, so it’s not made of paper, but it also won’t take more than a mag or two from an AR or SMG to wipe it out. The key is not to ignore it; if you fight a player while the turret is also gunning for you, you will be done for. Otherwise, go and eliminate the player who placed the turret, and it’ll instantly deactivate it. Even if the opponent’s turret is active, you have nothing to fear unless you are out of its 60-meter hit range.
