Visiting a Trader’s shop is a place to offload your hard-earned loot, get valuable gear, and sometimes even stumble upon a rare artifact or two. Who are the Traders in STALKER 2?

Selling items to Traders in STALKER 2

Traders in STALKER 2 are NPCs who act as merchants. They buy and sell weapons, armor, artifacts, and other equipment. Usually, you can exchange all waste items at their shops for Coupons; these Coupons are important for gear upgrades, using fast travel system, and other things. While a few specialize in consumables, others provide gear level-up or rare items that can make surviving in the Zone easier. Don’t be shy—sometimes a little bargaining can net you a better deal!

Before visiting a trader, decide what to sell and what to keep. STALKER 2 gives you a tight space in your inventory to carry your valuable resources to progress the game, offloading junk keeps your carry weight manageable. Further, it’s better to save coupons as these are the in-game currency for traders. Spend wisely to ensure buying key upgrades or rare gear when it matters most. Last but not least, many traders like Boozer give you side quests that are a good way to earn extra coupons or rewards. Always ask for “a job.”
